But what are the most important tools and equipment? What role do they play and what benefits do they offer in modern agriculture? In this article we answer these questions.

The most important loaders in agriculture

The main purpose of agricultural stackers is to move materials quickly and efficiently, which is especially important on larger farms. Choosing the right equipment not only saves time, but also reduces the workload on human labour and increases production efficiency. However, there are different types of loading machines and accessories that allow you to adapt the equipment to the specific economic activity.

1. Telescopic handlers

The first large group includes telescopic handlers, which are the most common tools used in agriculture. They are very versatile and have the advantage of having extendable arms. This gives the possibility to easily reach any height. The loaders can usually be used with various adapters, such as buckets, bale spikes or even grapples, making them suitable for a wide range of tasks. Their main advantage is their high load capacity and height reach. The adapters make them versatile, not to mention their compact size, which makes them easy to move, even in small spaces. They are needed in any very economic situation.

2. The front loaders

Front-end loaders are accessories that can be attached to tractors, mainly for soil and material handling. They are ideal for smaller producers as they are cost-effective and easy to use. They are an excellent choice for loading grain feed and manure, as well as other materials. They can also be used for snow clearing and landscaping when needed.

3. Skid steer loaders

These are machines that are not very big, but are nevertheless very popular because of their extreme manoeuvrability. They are ideal for working in tight spaces such as stables, granaries and confined spaces where space is limited. Despite their small size, their performance is outstanding. A big advantage is that they can be fitted with a variety of accessories such as spoons or spikes.

4. Conveyor belts or pallet belts

Although not classified as machines, they play an important role in the loading process. They can help move materials such as grain and feed. They are particularly useful for larger quantities of goods where other machinery cannot cope with the load.

What tools and adapters can be used?

The efficiency of loaders can be significantly increased by using them with the right tools and adapters.

1. Loading spoons

Among the best known and perhaps most commonly used adapters are adapters. They are suitable for moving bulk materials such as soil, manure or even feed. The size and shape of the bucket can be adapted to the task at hand. Special cereal scoops are also available, which, as the name suggests, are suitable for transporting cereals.

2. Thorns

The bale spikes are used to move straw bales, hay bales or silage. The devices keep the bales extremely stable. They are simple and safe to use and can be used to quickly load large quantities of bales if necessary.

3. Tweezers and grippers

Grapples are useful when dealing with looser materials such as compost, wood chips or manure. Tongs allow you to move materials of different sizes and shapes, such as pipes and cuttings, more easily.

4. Fork adapters

These adapters are suitable for loading palletised goods such as bagged feed or other palletised loads. The forks hold the pallets firmly, making transport and storage easier. Agricultural stackers are constantly evolving, especially in the field of automation and precision technology. New machines are now equipped with sensors and automatic control systems.
