A row cultivator is a tillage tool that loosens the soil between crop rows and kills weeds. It has several benefits, such as reducing erosion, improving water management and nutrient supply. Cultivators can also be equipped with solid or liquid fertiliser delivery units to help crop growth.

The use of liquid nitrogen in rotational tillage is now well established. Properly applied nitrosol does not require precipitation and is easily taken up by the crop. Liquid fertilizer application in a single pass with intercropping maximises nutrient uptake. The liquid nutrient applied in a targeted manner is available to the plant roots throughout the vegetative process. The liquid is delivered to the application site through a stainless steel tube attached to the spring hood.
